  • What happens to the doves when they are released?

When released, the doves will circle the area a few times and then fly home to their loft. They are carefully trained and conditioned to do this.

  • Can I have the doves released anywhere?

There are some areas that are not safe for the release of the doves. The area must be open and free of overhead wires.
  • How do the doves know where home is?

These birds possess a natural instinct to return home. They are trained from an early age to fly short distances and over a period of time the distances are built up.
  • Can the doves be released in bad weather or in the evening?

Extreme weather conditions can endanger the safety of the doves. Heavy rain, thunderstorms, strong winds and fog are examples of conditions that we cannot release birds in. We provide a full refund in such cases. We will release the doves between sunrise and 2 hours before sunset.
  • When should the doves be released?

Traditionally at a wedding, the doves are released as the bride and groom leave the church. They are also released at the ribbon cutting of ground-breaking ceremonies or at the opening ceremonies of sporting events.
  • When is payment due?

Advanced booking and a $50 non-refundable deposit is recommended to reserve the date of your event. Payment in full is required 45 days before the scheduled event. If you find it necessary to cancel your function 30 days or more before the reserved date, a 75% refund will be made. A 50% refund will be given if cancelled less than 30 days before your reserved date.
What is your service area?

The normal service area is within 20 to 30 miles of Berlin, MA, located in Central Massachusetts. Special arrangements can be made for the release of birds up to 50 miles from Berlin, MA. The release area must be open and free of overhead wires.
